Enamel pendant or earrings jewellery workshop:

Learn the magical art of vitreous enamelling, the application of finely ground glass powders to metal fused through heat. On this one day course you will learn the basic process of enamelling, experimenting with pattern and texture through a series of sample pieces to develop a design to turn into a simple pendant or pair of earrings.

Enamelling techniques workshop:

Enamelling techniquesThis one day course is aimed at those who already have a knowledge of jewellery making skills and wish to learn the process of enamelling to enhance their designs. The course will introduce the processes of sifting powdered enamels and wet laying. A range of different techniques will be demonstrated creating different effects with enamel followed by time for you to try and experiment with the process.

Silver rings jewellery workshop:

Stacking silver ringsYou will be shown how to measure your finger and how to work out the length of metal needed to make a ring. You will then learn how to form and solder silver wire to make a simple ring. You will be shown how to twist, texture and mark a selection of different wires so that you can then personalise your designs. You will be able to make a stack of simple rings and choose their final finish.

Experimental enamel necklaces workshop:

Working with very thin sheet copper you will  learn to form and texture the metal and apply colour with liquid enamels. You will make a series of components that will be strung together to make a necklace.
